One of the coolest things about being a photographer is getting the privilege to play such an huge role in the most special days in the lives of people that you've known forever...Katie is one of those people. I've known her since kindergarten back at St. Clare Elementary (RIP), and I spent many a slumber party at her house growing up! It was so neat so see her getting herself ready to be married in the same rooms we used to play in. You might remember seeing their engagement session a few months ago...they are the ones with the FIVE GIRLS! I think everyone just needs to stop what they're doing and pray for them right now, ha! But seriously...there was so much love wrapped up in this evening of joining together two families. Oh yea, and I almost forgot to mention: THERE WAS A WALKING DEAD CAKE.
