There are a few traditions that are dying hard with each new wedding client that I book, but one that I am glad is SO not going away is the bridal portrait session. Now, for all you non-Southerners out there, this may be a complete phenomenon to you, but to everyone down here, it's a vital part of a bride's wedding preparation! As a photographer, I love getting to be one of the few to see a Southern Belle in her full day-of attire, glamified from head to toe, before the rest of the general public. It also allows me to get to know them just a little bit more and find out what makes their hearts happy for their wedding day photos (also why engagement photos are so important to me!).
